Ruby Cakes is thrilled to open our flagship location in the Granary District. Our 2700 square foot venue offers ample seating, a kids’ corner, free wifi, and retail goods in a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Filled to the rafters with the aroma of good things baking, it’s a wonderful place to relax and enjoy our baked goods. About Amy

 Amy is a single mother who moved her two boys to McMinnville in 2006 in search of a better life. She has over 20 years of experience in the corporate world working in project management, sales and marketing, and public relations. In 2011, she was looking for a new challenge when she found Dominique, a masterful baker. Amy could immediately envision the marketing demand for her extraordinary cupcakes and baked goods. A partnership developed with the goal of bringing Ruby Cakes to the masses.

About Dominique

Dominique and her husband moved to McMinnville in 2006. After being a housewife and stay-at-home mom for several years, she found herself seeking out her life’s passions. In 2010 came the discovery that years of discomfort were the result of a gluten intolerance. Her natural aptitude for baking, combined with insights into dietary restrictions, not to mention her desire to own her own business, led to the creation of Ruby Cakes in July of 2010. As the company took off, the need to expand the menu and incorporate other dietary restrictions grew. Dominique's original chocolate cupcake recipe has now blossomed into over 30 recipes. She currently lives in McMinnville with her husband and two young sons.
