But let’s face it, there’s so much on the Internet these days, that we just have to get along with the times, and share what we’re doing 🙂 … no point being old in a new world …
So we’ve found some decorations that we absolutely loved and will actually blow your mind! We’ve even been able to decorate some gluten-free healthy cakes, and made them look incredibly unhealthy. No one wants to eat a healthy cake that actually looks healthy we found out the hard way when we first started baking for the health conscious.

So you’re getting married and are looking for a cake? This is hard enough when you’re “normal” but what do you do when you’re health conscious or have a food intolerance. I know a lot of our gluten-free clients struggle to find amazing looking cakes that they could actually eat.

We’re frequently asked about integrating specific ingredients into our cupcakes. Some ingredients are difficult to integrate in baking, but have huge health benefits. Gluten-Free baking can be a real challenge. When looking a little closer at your favorite baked goods, you’ll see that gluten actually contributes to the properties of cupcakes, cakes and so on. On the other hand, it is becoming a lot simpler with new products in your supermarket. A wide range of gluten-free ingredients such as flours is making it easier for you to bake without this protein. This is a real help for those Celiacs with a sweet tooth. But this doesn’t mean it is not more difficult. It is still a challenge to make those baked goods just as good as normal.
So let’s take a look at a great recipe you can start experimenting with straight away:
125g of melted butter
125g of caster sugar
3 tablespoons of milk
2 fresh eggs
125g of gluten-free flour, should be self-raising
Two drops of vanilla extract
2 egg whites
100g of butter
150g of caster sugar
Two drops of vanilla extract
This is an incredibly easy recipe to make and will make your taste buds tingle. It really is delicious, and it’s hard to notice the difference. It is important however to use high quality self-raising flour, or you’ll notice that they are gluten-free. Feel free to experiment with this recipe and try to make it even tastier depending on your preference.
The key with coping with a constricted diet is to try new things all the time, and ensure that you don’t get too bored cooking with the same recipes all the time. Get creative, and try to bake yourself. The supermarket products don’t tend to be that nice, at least not the ones that I have tried myself

Gluten free baking has become trendy in the last few years. However, many of us have been forced to cut out gluten from our diets out of necessity, not just because it is the latest diet fad. But even if you are not gluten intolerant and do not suffer from the Celiac disease, are there other health benefits that would justify you cutting out gluten from your diet? Let’s take a look.
What Is Gluten?
Gluten is the name for the proteins found in foods such as wheat and barley. So gluten it’s a protein found in many different foods and is fairly difficult to cut out altogether. It also helps make food tastier as it helps hold different ingredients together, something very important in cooking and baking especially.
Should You Go Gluten-Free?
A diet which is low on gluten or cuts it all completely can bring several real health benefits. The main health benefit is improving your digestion, since gluten can be difficult to digest. Other benefits include increasing energy levels and lowering cholesterol.
But many of these benefits can also be achieved by eating a healthier diet, so there is a lot of scientific debate on whether a normal person would see real benefits from cutting this protein out of their diets completely, especially seeing that it is present in so many different foods.
If you have a serious sensitivity to gluten, it’s highly advisable to cut out gluten from your diet to avoid malnourishment and further issues. However, if you do not suffer from Celiac, then it might not be necessary. We do see a real benefit in limiting your gluten intake. The good news is that there are plenty of ways to avoid gluten and still eat very well. We have some incredibly tasty recipes for cupcakes and other foods, which do not include any gluten at all.
